An "analysis" of the ever changing ages of Page3 girls
Having thought many years ago, well 5 or so ago, that the ages given for the models appearing on page 3 of the Sun, were a little unstable, in a moment of boredom I decided to find out. And so I set about looking throught the page 3 archive, noting the date, age, name and from of the model featured. It was tough, but I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to go through what I did...
Basically each of the years above will provide a break down of who featured that year, with a few stats, conjured from nowhere, and with no scientific basis. And if I can be arsed, I'll add details, like how old they should be.
I've done 2000-2007, and 2008 is a work in progress. I figured I'd put some overall stats on this page, to give you a flavour of what lies within. For the years I've done there have been 140 different models, posing in 2778 Page3s. The oldest given age was 28, the youngest 18.
And we'll ignore for the moment, the fact that some of the names have been reused, which is a pain in the arse. Also the names, ages etc came from the Page3 online archive. Every now and again, the Scottish Sun have a different model than the Sun, so in some cases I have both entries in.
A new feature I'm working on, is making the data into a PDF that is only ever out of date, if you have a downloaded copy, closely followed by changing all the multiple model appearances to single models. Then perhaps linking to the relevant archive page.
I've given up on the pdf thing for the moment, cause my new favourite internet toy is Google Maps which I think ties in nicely with showing where the models claim to be from.
